Anne Sempowski Ward

Anne Sempowski Ward is a corporate board director, investor, philanthropist, and the chairwoman of CURiO Brands. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, she took an unconventional path to the C-suite, ultimately spending 12 years as CEO of CURiO, where she and a woman-led team quadrupled the company’s size. Throughout her career, Anne has guided some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Coca-Cola, Ebony, and Clairol, establishing herself as a transformational leader expert in navigating major growth and cultural change. An independent director for SPS Commerce, Vanda Pharmaceuticals, and The Lip Bar, she also serves on the boards of the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and the University of St. Thomas. A fierce advocate for women in sports and leaders of color, Anne is a co-owner of the WNBA Chicago Sky and two USL franchises. A Detroit native, she currently resides in Minneapolis with her family.

Taydra Mitchell Jackson

Taydra Mitchell Jackson is the Former Chief Marketing Officer for Sundial Brands, a division of Unilever that houses SheaMoisture, the world’s largest multicultural beauty care brand. A 25-year veteran of the beauty industry, Taydra has dedicated her career to championing underserved consumers. She has driven marketing strategy at global giants like Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal USA, and Revlon, and has provided vital strategic direction to rising, founder-led brands through her own boutique consultancy, TMJ Omni Enterprises—including a pivotal tenure as Head of Marketing for the inclusive cosmetics start-up The Lip Bar. A two-time graduate of Florida A&M University with an MBA in Marketing, she also holds executive credentials from INSEAD. Taydra serves on the advisory boards for Harlem Zen and Healing of the Heart Ministries, actively mentors women in business, and lives with her husband and three daughters.

Carla Suber

Carla Suber is the Director of Wellness for the Chicago Bears Football Club, serving as the organization’s first full-time team clinician. In this groundbreaking role, she leads the Bears’ mental wellness initiatives, providing comprehensive, holistic support for players, coaches, and staff to help them successfully navigate the rigorous demands of professional football both on and off the field. Prior to joining the NFL, Carla spent over 16 years in Division I collegiate athletics, including a impactful tenure as a mental health clinician at Loyola University Chicago. A graduate of Florida A&M University, she holds master’s degrees from both the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. Carla is widely recognized across sports for her compassionate leadership and steadfast advocacy for athlete mental health and peak performance.

Judge Nicole Taylor

Judge Nicole Taylor is the presiding judge of Dallas County Court at Law No. 5. With more than two decades of judicial and legal experience, she built a distinguished career in civil litigation, corporate law, and public service prior to taking the bench, frequently representing businesses, government entities, and community nonprofits. Judge Taylor earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. A dedicated community leader and proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she is a passionate advocate for civic engagement, voter participation, and diversity within the legal profession. As a breast cancer survivor, she also remains deeply committed to supporting families and individuals impacted by the disease throughout Dallas County.

Rosa Botello

Rosa Botello is the Director of Global Supplier Inclusion and Human Rights at Suntory Global Spirits, a world leader in premium spirits. Known for building scalable, responsible sourcing strategies that align business growth with economic impact, Rosa oversees global supply chain governance and human rights priorities across the enterprise. Her extensive background in transforming procurement practices includes high-impact leadership roles at Motorola Solutions, McDonald’s Corporation, and Nielsen; during her time as Global Head of Supplier Diversity at Motorola, her strategies generated over $1 billion in economic impact. Rosa sits on the ChicagoMSDC Board of Directors, is the Global Co-Lead for Suntory’s Hispanic/Latino employee impact group (SALUD), and has been honored as a Chicago United Business Leader of Color and inducted into theBoardIQ “Hall of Fame LatinX Exceptional Leaders.”
